An area of outstanding beauty, comprising three inter-linked relatively shallow lakes (Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru and Lake Elementaita). 7 DAYS KENYA LAKE SYSTEMS BIRDING TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: NAIROBI – LAKE BOGORIA
You will be met at your hotel/airport by our company representative, briefed and then depart for Lake Bogoria. On the way you will have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and short rest, you will have a guided walking tour around lake Bogoria. Back to the lodge in the evening.

- Distance: Approximately 248 kilometers from Nairobi.
Day 2: LAKE BOGORIA FULL-DAY
On this day you will have a guided tour around Lake Bogoria viewing the diverse bird species and other natural attractions like hot spring geysers. The reserve is also home to shy kudu antelope with spiraling horns, impalas, cheetahs, ostriches and marabou storks.

Day 3: LAKE BOGORIA – LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast at the resort, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. On arrival you will have an en-route game drive as you proceed to Sarova Lion hill Lake Nakuru for check in and lunch. After short rest, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Lake Nakuru national park which is considered a paradise for bird-watchers. It has become famous because of the millions of pink flamingos that flock its shores. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 4: LAKE NAKURU FULL-DAY
On this day you will have full day game drives or morning and afternoon game drives. You will enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. The park is ideal for bird watching and you can also easily spot some of the big five-members, buffalo and rhino grazing at the park’s beautiful grasslands.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE ELEMENTAITA
Depart the lodge at around 10 AM and drive leisurely to Lake Elementaita arriving nearer to lunch time. The rest of the day will be spent a leisure relaxing in the hotel and watching activities in the Lake.

- Distance: Approximately 50 kilometers from Lake Nakuru.
Day 6: LAKE ELEMENTAITA FULL-DAY
On this day you will have guided bird walks along the lake, conducted by the resident naturalist, with tools such as the binoculars and a birding list provided. The Conservancy plays host to 450 bird species, and birding experts report up to 60 species of birds a day – a birder’s paradise including the flamingos and also home to great white pelicans, great crested grebe and is an important stopover for over 350 migratory bird species.

Day 7: LAKE ELEMENTAITA – NAIROBI
